仕事内容
■ Responsibilities - Implement and guide application development, working closely with experienced full-stack developers. - Maintain a performant application layer tightly coupled with our API. - Work with product managers and stakeholders to identify time tables and estimates for project completion; provide them with realistic expectations of what can and can't be done. - Pragmatically decide technologies and approaches without succumbing to NIH syndrome. ■ Together We will grow our API services (of which there will be many) into a platform capable of serving thousands of users. This includes everything from defining JSON payload formats, writing fast and furious SQL queries, and working closely in both front-end and server-side contexts. You will be the glue that ties an exciting platform together. And you will work with a team focused on working efficiently, together. You should have a firm grasp of API best-practices, perhaps have spec and developed one yourself, and be comfortable in either Python or PHP. Through your deep knowledge of Open Source frameworks and libraries, you also know when it's best to use a battle-tested tool instead of writing your own. You might have experience in building your own web-service or application, and thought about what happens if it ends up #1 on Hacker News (your service better stay up!). Sometimes you dream about how to solve the problem of thousands of users hitting the “refresh” button to load new data. If this sounds like fun, we'd love to talk.
